There are seven sets of Strange Dualities in this segment. Using the techniques encompassed within them will dramatically improve the quality of your life.
The first is the “Mind / Body” connection. It is a vice-versa syndrome. You can change your mental focus and it will affect your body. Or you can change your physiology and it will impact your mental state.
The second is “External / Internal”. Here, we get into representational modes – how you see and hear and feel things. You learn how to establish better rapport not only with others but with yourself as well. It improves emotional stability.
The third is “Maxi / Mini, which deals with submodes. These are adjectives with "attitudes". You learn how to use them to make context changes that enhance positives or neutralize and/or eliminate negatives.
The fourth is “Alpha / Beta”. You can be much more creative and productive if you learn how to switch from the conscious Beta state to the Alpha state at appropriate times so that you can directly access your subconscious mind.
The fifth is “Associated / Dissociated”. This revolves around whether you are actually inside the visualization or just watching yourself in the mental movie on your internal screen. In addition, there is a technique known as “Double Dissociation”, which is part of a pattern used to cure phobias and conditioned responses.
The sixth is “Constructed / Remembered”. A person’s eye movements and certain words reveal how one thinks and also whether an experience is being recalled or is being made up.
The seventh is “Content / Context”. Content is the storyline itself, while Context is the stage on which it is performed. The techniques for restructuring any experience stem from this duality.
The Baratt Core Lore System Manual shows you how to effectively employ each of this set of seven.
